Victoria Garren
I am a 16 year old junior at Plant City High School where I’m active in Varsity Cheerleading, Keyettes, Sign Language, Youth Alive, and honored to be crowned my high schools 2009 Cover Girl. I have a 4.02 GPA and I’m excited to be joining the National Honor Society and Dual Enrollment in College during my Senior year. I’ve received many awards and titles over the years: Potential Key Scholar, Presidents Award for Excellence, 1st Maid Little Miss Plant City, the Florida Strawberry Festival Junior Royalty Duchess and many others. I am very involved in my church youth group and my community. Over the past three years I have volunteered over 100 hours which include time with South Florida Baptist Hospital, St. Jude’s, The Children’s Miracle Network, Plant City Junior Woman’s Club, and The American Cancer Society. My platform - “Mirror Yourself” I personally entitled to promote self-confidence and independence. I share a famous quote by Judy Garland – “Always be a First rate version of yourself instead of a Second rate version of someone else”. I’m honored to be crowned 2009 Miss Largo’s Outstanding Teen and would like to thank God, my family (brother – Kyle), friends, and the community leaders who have supported me emotionally, spiritually, physically, and financially while I have aspired to make dreams come true. |
