Mahaillie Girffith
Mahaillie is a 14 year old homeschooled honors student. She enjoys spending every Wednesday at the Boys And Girls Club tutoring, mentoring and playing with the kids. She has been doing community service since the age of 9. Her platform is: Volunteering: To Serve; To Lead; To Inspire. She loves to help and inspire and enjoys being a positive role model for kids and her peers to look up to. She has started several service projects overs the years such as Project Puppy Love and Reading Royalty. She was also able to start a local chapter of Love Letters at her middle school where they were able to create over 200 cards for terminally ill children, in one semester during after school hours. Mahaillie has performed in nursing homes, childrens hospitals and festivals all over our state. Mahaillie's passion is musical theater and you can find her rehearsing right now for "Millie" in Thoroughly Modern Millie. She also recently starred in Sweeney Todd as Mrs Lovette and Pirates of Penzance as Ruth. She plans to someday be a nurse midwife and continue her love of musical theater on Broadway. Mahaillie has been blessed to have traveled the world, including spending 1 year living in Sicily, Italy. |
